China Water Efficiency Label (CWEL)
On 13. September 2017, the China National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) and the Administration of Quality and Supervision inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) jointly published Decree No. 6 - "Regulations on Water Efficiency Label" along with an implementation guideline to promote products with high-efficiency water conservation and increase efficient water use. Effective since 1. March 2018, the decree stipulates testing to be conducted in China according to local GB-standards. The approval procedure consists of: • Product testing • Application for the QR-code to be displayed on the China Water Efficiency Label (CWEL) • Issuance of the China Water Efficiency Label • Product registration We provide comprehensive services to support you in proper product testing, filing your QR-code application and completing the registration procedure necessary to receive the China Water Efficiency Label according to local regulatory standards.
