Human rights and environmental due diligence obligations
TÜV Rheinland's 150-year success story is based on principles such as diligence, reliability and integrity. Human rights and environmental due diligence are the foundations of our responsible corporate actions. We have been underlining and communicating this since 2006 with our commitment to the UN Global Compact.
Our policy statement
We take it as our responsibility to respect human rights and prevent human rights violations - not only in our own business operations, but also in our value and supply chain.
Whistleblower platform
In order to protect human rights and the environment, the TÜV Rheinland whistleblowing platform enables all potentially involved persons to submit information or complaints in this regard. The platform is publicly available and thus accessible for all potentially involved parties via the TÜV Rheinland homepage, i.e. both own employees, employees of business partners and suppliers, but also external parties and institutions. A complaint or information can be reported anonymously or openly; in any case, the complaint will be treated confidentially and in compliance with the legal requirements. Below you will find the link and a process description of the complaint procedure.
