To safeguard the well-being of consumers in Sudan, the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO) has launched the Pre-Shipment Verification Program, requiring regulated products exported to Sudan to hold a Certificate of Inspection (CoI) to demonstrate compliance with national and international standards, ensuring a smooth clearance process with Sudanese Customs.

As an authorized international surveyor, TÜV Rheinland can provide inspection, testing, analysis, and conformity assessment services, concluding with issuing CoIs for regulated goods exported to Sudan.

This authorization positions TÜV Rheinland to contribute to Sudan's economy by promoting safety, quality, and sustainability across various industries, facilitating the movement of goods in a compliant and safe manner.

TÜV Rheinland supports exporters and importers targeting the Sudanese market in achieving their goals, while also supporting SSMO in ensuring products entering Sudan meet the desired standards through their global network of experts.

Ministerial Decision No. 90/2022 repeals Decision No. 86/2020 and replaces it with this Decision. This decision is effective as of November 1st, 2022.
