Description of project:
The Metro Collective Transportation System of Mexico City has the following technology distribution in its 12 lines:
- Three metro lines (A, B, 8) in SACEEM
- A metro line in CBTC
- The remaining eight metro lines in PA 135
The company SELESPO had the supply of SACEEM technology for this operator. As part of the technological improvements that the country implemented in mass passenger transport systems, PA135 hardware, with a high degree of reliability and availability, which had the purpose of having a safety certification in accordance with the CENELEC regulations. TÜV Rheinland, performed the verification, conformity assessment and independent safety assessment for the migration of the automatic piloting system (PA135).
