TÜV Rheinland is active in the region Central & Eastern Europe since 1990, with regional subsidaries in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia. With international competencies, our Eastern European teams are a core pillar of our global rail teams.

Eastern Europe is the world’s third-biggest rail market, and TÜV Rheinland plays a very active role within this dynamic industry: with local rail experts teams and all regional TÜV Rheinland entities (accredited as Inspection Body acc. to EN ISO/IEC 17020 Typ A and Certification Body acc. to EN ISO/IEC 17065) in this region we serve regional clients as well as - in close cooperation with our international TÜV Rheinland Global Rail organization - international rail assignments, e.g.:
