Talent Orientation Center for experts and prospective managers

Am I suitable for a specialist or management career at TÜV Rheinland?

The Talent Orientation Center (TOC), which takes place several times a year, helps employees to find an answer. Among other things, ability and personality tests reveal their potential. In addition, the participants demonstrate their strengths in various exercises and interviews in a group procedure. An individual development plan is derived from the results.

TÜV Rheinland's Talent Team Programme prepares employees methodically and in terms of content to assume more responsibility in the future. Talents who have already proven their leadership and specialist potential qualify for the program - be it in the Talent Orientation Center and/or the Young Professional Conference.

At a kick-off event, participants are given the task of successfully completing a strategically relevant project for TÜV Rheinland within a maximum of twelve months. At the same time, they undergo various training modules, e.g. on project management, innovation or leadership basics. The program starts several times a year.

Internationally successful - with the Young Professional Conference

Innovation workshop and talent search in one.

Every year, TÜV Rheinland organizes the two and a half-day international Workshop Young Professional Conference (YPC). TÜV Rheinland wants to discover talented, globally mobile colleagues at an early stage and promote them in a targeted manner. This is why YPC is aimed at employees who are young in the company, who do not yet have management responsibility, but who stand out through good performance and want to develop internationally.

At the same time, YPC develops potential business ideas for the company and establishes worldwide networks with colleagues. Participating employees from our offices around the world will jointly develop a business plan during the workshop, which they will then present to potential investors in a short presentation. Based on the results and the personal goals of the participants, an individual development plan is developed.

Tailor-made management training

Good leadership requires a variety of skills - such as the ability to quickly recognize the opportunities for the team in every new challenge. At TÜV Rheinland, management development means providing targeted support for managers and strengthening their skills in the long term. Various trainings and programs contribute to this:

Leadership Fundamentals I & II - The two-stage training for all middle management executives supports the participants in working on the competencies that are critical for success in management.

Management Development Program (MDP) - Nominated for the MDP are international managers who recommend themselves for top management at TÜV Rheinland. The program prepares participants individually for a role in Group management.

LeadX - The LeadX Leadership Excellence Program is aimed at top management at TÜV Rheinland. Participants are trained in their leadership skills and prepared to successfully shape changes for teams and the company.
