Working in a small team as part of an international organisation?

Operating from several locations in the Netherlands (in Arnhem and Breda), the group offers a wide range of services to its local customers. Currently, 60 specialists in the Netherlands work for TÜV Rheinland.

 

We are looking for a Key Account Manager who will be "the face of the customer" for the assigned Dutch Retailers within the TÜV Rheinland Group.

 

This position is focused on sales and vendor management for a number of Key Accounts in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for leading, developing and managing all (project) activities related to assigned vendors in the Netherlands. You will have regular and close contact with the Head of Retail Northern Europe and the Retail team in Europe to ensure the smooth and sustainable development of the portfolio within the TUV Rheinland Group.

 

Ideally you will have an understanding the Retail Industry and experience in the testing, inspection, and certification industry for at least 2 years. Account and project management would be an advantage also.

What will be your challenges?

- Overall and global responsibility for assigned respective Retailers in the Netherlands.

- Develop and expand account relationships through vendor management.

- Oversight of processes and standard operating procedures related to the respective account(s).

- Responsibility for global pricing taking into account P/L (both direct and indirect orders from vendors).

- Record and document Key Account information (e.g. Key Account buyers, distribution countries, revenues, incoming/sold orders per month/quarter/year, project status).

- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and look for ways to proactively improve (e.g. customer survey).

- Responsibility for optimisation of services and processes taking into account customer requirements (including cross-selling activities).

- Ensure documentation and follow-up of the implementation of business Key Account processes, such as project flow, sample appointments, etc.

What do we expect from you?

- You have a Bachelor or vocational college and Bachelor working and thinking level obtained through work experience with additional training/courses.

- You have work experience in project management and/or account management.

- Experience within a TIC provider

- Understanding of Retailers and Brands

- You are enterprising, commercial, decisive, driven, eager to score, think from the customer's perspective, set the right priorities and dare to be creative.

- Of course you can work well in a team, but you also enjoy working independently.

- Excellent command of the English language with an understanding of the Dutch language being a plus but not essential.

- You work from home and are willing to travel to client locations mainly in the Netherlands, but potentially to locations within the TUV Rheinland network.
