Job Description

  • Takes over assigned work packages and performs supporting tasks as directed
    • Assessments n the field of functional and electrical safety according to IEC 61508, EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, ISO 26262, SIRF
    • Examination and Evaluation of the functional safety of rail vehicles according to the system life cycle in compliance with EN 50126
    • Functional testing of safety features to verify the validation results
    • Examination and Evaluation of the application of risk management as well as the results of customers in the rail vehicle environment (manufacturers, suppliers, operators)
    • Safety, impact, risk and hazard analyses
    • Safety case documentation and conformity assessments
    • Evaluation the safety management system of train operating companies
    • Trainings for customer representatives in the field of safety management and functional safety
    • Support and Consulting on the homologation – e.g. applicable regulation, documents and processes – of technological products for the rail sector
  • And other duties as assigned.

Experience & Further Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Physics or equivalent.
  • Very good oral and written expression skills as well as very good German and English skills, ideally in another foreign language
  • No previous professional experience required
