Since the establishment of Global Technology Assessment Center (GTAC) in Japan in 2005, TÜV Rheinland Japan combines under one roof a variety of testing facilities and services to meet the ever-increasing demands on manufacturers for getting their products to the market. Our One-Stop Solutions cater to a wide variety of industries, including consumer electronics, office equipment, medical devices, automotive suppliers and many others. Testing Facilities at GTAC

TÜV Rheinland offers a variety of testing services at GTAC from small components to large equipment, using its properly calibrated high-performance testing equipment and a wealth of expertise and experience.

Thermal Shock / Temperature-Humidity Testing

Thermal shock and temperature-humidity tests are conducted according to IEC, ISO, JIS, MIL and other standards.

Impact / Vibration Testing

Impact testings using air rifle or pendulum hammer. A bump test using a vibration tester is also possible.

IP tests according to IEC/EN 60529, DIN 40 050 or ISO 20653.

Electric Strength and Flammability Testing

The evaluation of the electric insulation and flammability of products.

Optical Testing for laser products

Measurement of light intensity, illuminance, spectral radiation and wavelength.
