Job title: Inspection Engineer – Mechanical

Reports to: Operation Manager

Job duties & responsibilities:

  • Should be a BE/diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Should have experience as an Inspection Engineer with TPIA or QA/QC with Manufacturing Unit not less than 5 years.
  • May have hands on experience in Static Equipment like Pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Tanks for Oil & Gas, Fertilizer & Power Sector.
  • May have hands on experience in Rotating equipment like Pumps, Blowers, Compressors, Agitators
  • May have hands on experience of Valves, Bulk items (Plate, Pipe, Tubes, Casting, Forging etc.)
  • Should have valid ASNT Level II certification in RT/UT/PT/MT/VT
  • Additional qualification like AWS / CSWIP / BGAS / NACE Level II is preferable.
  • Knowledge about the national and international code, standard & methodology required for the inspection activities
  • Ensure adherence to the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities.
  • Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Process requirements.

Single assignments: Beside the above listed job duties special assignments have to be carried out based on the instructions of the direct superior. Those special assignments are usually connected to above listed activities or those assignments are a result of company policy.

Authority:The incumbent is authorized to take any reasonable action necessary to carry out the assigned responsibilities, provided that such action is consistent with sound company and cost-effective practices and is consistent with position guidelines as outlined above.

Education:

BE mechanical with 4+ year Experience Or Diploma mechanical with 7+ year Experience
